Died October 3, 1952 in Korea Corporal Waldo was a member of Company C, 839th Engineer Aviation Construction Battalion. He developed hepatitis and was taken to the 121st Evacuation Hospital where he died on October 3, 1952. Corporal Waldo was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
